If you step into Hamilton between 8:00-9:30 AM, you'll witness a musical coming to life in middle school!

Set Design is in full swing on the lower level, where Mr. Jim Alexander and Ms. Maryann Carlson (STAGES) guide students through scene transitions, script readings, and the fundamentals of safety and power tool use for set construction.

Over at Props, Mr. Hunter Trammell (STAGES) leads students in breaking down the script to create a comprehensive list of props for the production.

In the Library Media Center, parent Mr. Josh Van Praag introduces students to Adobe Express as they rotate through project groups focused on photography, design, Shrek ears, and image processing.

Finally, make your way up to the third floor, where the cast is already singing, leading small groups, and providing peer feedback—and it’s only Week 2!

In Costume Design, Ms. Nina's students are researching Shrek's character and costumes, delving into how his personality is expressed through his traits.

The cast is led by Mrs. Adria Beasley, Mrs. Erin Antonyzyn, and Ms. Jhaianne Cooper.

The magic of musical theater is alive at Hamilton!
